Graduated from the University of Economics, Prague, including Ph.D. examination proceedings, and speaks fluent English and German. Further, she has a working knowledge of French and Russian. Until mid-2008, she worked as a tax advisor in the law office PETERKA & PARTNERS and, formerly, in the tax department of ERNST & YOUNG. Her practice is focused mainly on direct taxation, especially personal income taxation, including social security and health insurance issues, and international tax aspects. Besides her professional practice she also lectures at the University of Economics, Prague.
