Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University, Prague, including rigorous and Ph.D. examination proceedings, and from the Faculty of Law, University of Utrecht. He is a partner of the tax department with fluent English and Russian. He practised seven years in the tax department of Deloitte & Touche, Prague, and from August 2002 to May 2005 he worked as a tax department manager of the Prague-based branch of the international law firm Baker & McKenzie. Within the framework of his working stay abroad he took part in a study program focused on international taxation at the University of Denver. His professional activities include Czech and international planning in the field of direct taxes, including optimization within acquisition and restructuring projects for multinational corporations and Czech businesses. He uses his legal education also in representing clients in tax and judicial proceedings with tax administrators. He also participates in the legislative process in the area of income taxes.
